My name is Travis Landes and I am an aspiring freelance sportswriter. Baseball has forever been a passion of mine, falling in love with the Atlanta Braves organization, as many a child did, raised in the south in the 90’s. Residing in the frigid northeast of the country now, pursuing my adventure into sportswriting full time. I love most if not all sports (especially professional wrestling, and yes, it’s a sport, you get it or you don’t). I’m also an avid guitar player in my free time, with a very deep love for music as well as baseball.
Inspiring myself to use my knowledge of the game from a lifelong fan’s perspective, I’ve founded 2SeamSports as a place to preach, teach, and inform the baseball community from the “everyday” person’s perspective. Mixing professional journalism with socially relatable dialogue, 2SeamSports aims to create content that makes you feel you’re reading from a friend or “one of the boys” while at the same time, learning more and more about the sport we love.
